George/Katie/Charlie - The Night of the Party So, the evening in question had finally arrived. It was the night of the costume party and for the Weasley, it had been something that he had been looking forward to. Not only had he planned on surprising Katie by charming his hair black (after numerous failed attempts where it had ended up blue, purple, and even pink at one point), but also it was going to be the first time he would be out and interacting with people (well, save for his friends) in who-knows-how long.
Still, George was curious to see how the evening would go. Sure, he would talk to Katie - well, when she wasn't performing that is. But still George wondered whom he'd run into and what the conversation would consist of. | | Friday, August 29th, 2008 | | 12:50 pm |
Katie/George 003 George knew that given his impending move to Libertas that his flat would be in disarray. That and the fact that he would probably be under a little bit of stress over the whole ordeal. Still, Katie and Ali were willing to help him out and while he appreciated that he wanted to make sure that things were ready when the move occurred and that everything would go smoothly. Also, he had tried again to get into contact with Fred again – but no luck. So, he knew that he would have to visit Mystic Moon in the near future
But despite all that, George still wanted to surprise Katie and ever since Alicia suggested it, the idea of a rooftop picnic on top of Libertas stayed prominent in his mind. And while he knew that Katie thought that she was bollocks at dating, he was adamant to get her to join him. And maybe he could convince her that this wasn't actually a date – but an outing more or less. That and he had already been formulating a plan for what would happen following it.
So, George prepared everything that was necessary for a picnic – sandwiches, crisps, and whatnot. Once everything was ready, he took the items in question and headed off to Libertas and over to Katie's flat. When he got to the destination in question, he knocked on the door and waited in anticipation for her to answer. And hopefully, everything would go according to plan. | | Thursday, August 28th, 2008 | | 9:55 am |
003 Okay, so I was finally able to decide on a costume for the party. I'm planning on going as a vampire - so I already have the pale skin, all I need now is a costume.
And that leads into another announcement. I'm planning on moving into Libertas sometime next week - I just have to decide whether I'm going to take a one or two bedroom flat. It still feels a little bit weird because I know that there are so many memories there - but I think that it'd be best to let go of them instead of clinging onto the past. Ali and Katie, would you mind helping me with the moving process? I’d greatly appreciate it. And I think that there’ll be many new memories that go into this place.
[Private to Ron and Hermione] Well, I know that I plan on renting out the flat once I leave it, but I thought that maybe since the two of you were staying in separate places that I could offer for the two of you to stay there if you wanted. Rent would probably be 30 Galleons a month.
Anyroad, let me know if you're interested. [/Private] | | Monday, August 25th, 2008 | | 5:57 pm |
George/Katie/Alicia - The Group Movie Night George knew that the first movie night that Ali came to would be rather significant for several reasons. First of all, it was the first one following the evening in question - and ever since they discussed things on Sunday - the two were almost inseparable. That and the fact that this would be the first movie night where it didn't consist of just him and Katie - but George was pretty certain what would happen if Ali wasn't there. Although this evening could be a bit torturous for the new couple.
Still, all he could do was wait for Katie and Ali to arrive and once they were there, then they could enjoy the movies that they were going to watch. Have small talk and do whatnot. But the Weasley was looking forward to the events following her departure - still, the movies would be a good form of entertainment. At least for now. | | Sunday, August 24th, 2008 | | 5:58 pm |
002 So, I'm thinking about maybe going to the costume party at the Leaky - but I don't know. I mean, I haven't the slightest idea for a costume. But on the other hand - I wouldn't mind a performance from Katie and the Dolls.
Also, Kate, I saw Ali the other day and I thought that maybe she could join us for one of our movie nights? I mean, if that's alright with you.
[Private to Katie] Kate, I keep thinking about what had happened during that one night - and while I want nothing more than to shag you again - I just feel that maybe we should discuss it.
Although, I really did mean what I said in regards to fancying you - just wanted to let you know that it wasn't something said on the spur of the heat of the moment. But part of me assumes that you don't feel the same way; maybe admitting that to you was nothing more than a big mistake. | | Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 | | 9:05 pm |
001 It's odd...being trapped in Diagon. But then again, it's probably safe to assume that those who spend a great deal of time in the Alley are more adjusted to the transition of being trapped then so who aren't. But I do think that Charlie made me realise that I need to spend more time outside of the shop. And I'm working on that, slowly but surely. I guess it's probably the first step I've taken in regards to things for quite some time.
Then again, if Mum knew about this. She'd probably try to encourage me to settle down. I'm not ready for that although Merlin knows I could use a decent shag.
[Private to Katie] Are we still up for the usual movie night tomorrow? [/Private]
[Private to Ginny] Ginny, I know I missed your birthday. I just had a lot on my mind and I'm sorry about that. Anything I can do to make it up to you? [/Private] | | Friday, August 15th, 2008 | | 11:23 am |
George/Charlie 01 George knew that his family always looked out for him following what had happened that day that had remained rather prominent in his mind. And while George did appreciate their concern, sometimes it got to be too much for him. He felt that sometimes that they were pressuring him to move on with life and while George had plans to do just that - he didn't know when they would be implemented.
But following his conversation with Charlie on the journals, George had a feeling that his older brother would try to help him with that; whether George wanted hit or not. Then again, who knew how the conversation would go? | | Monday, August 11th, 2008 | | 9:24 am |
George/Katie - Movie Night Ever since Katie had propositioned that one movie night back in April, it had become a ritual for the two of them. They always watched a couple of movies when the night in question rolled around; that and George always seemed to appreciate Katie's company. She was the one person who seemed to be able to really cheer him up no matter what his mood was.
However, now that everyone was entrapped in Diagon, George was a bit uncertain about how this movie night in question would go; that and he hadn't been able to make contact with Fred in several days (but he made certain that nobody knew about it). Although, if he knew Katie well enough, she'd be certain to come up with a way to cheer him up. He just didn't know what that was quite yet. | | Monday, August 4th, 2008 | | 10:51 am |
Katie/George - Backstory Time always seems to go by slower when one has nobody to talk to. And that's how George always felt on an everyday basis; sure, he had friends that he could talk to if he wanted to, but he missed talking to Fred. Fred was one of the people whom he could truly talk to about the most intimate, personal things (then again, the fact that the two of them shared the same DNA was probably a crucial element to it). But in the years since his brother's passing, he seemed to get more and more depressed. People told him just to accept it, but George couldn't do that all that easily - he was determined that there was some way that he could communicate with his deceased twin - he just hadn't figured out how. He had tried a couple of events with no success and had been contemplating doing a seance, yet he made sure that nobody ever knew about it - especially, the people who checked in to make sure that he was alright, because he feared what they would think and really, he didn't need them to worry about him anymore.
Although, it was in the midst of this thinking that he heard the door open and was greeted by a familiar face. He just didn't know how the conversation would go. | | Friday, August 1st, 2008 | | 12:30 pm |
